That feeling when you feel stuck in your brain, feel overwhelmed with information...or worries...or both.
When it is difficult to think clearly and thoughts seem to go on and on in the same old loop...
Then it is time to stop yourself and breath.
Most of our thinking is automatic, fuelled by emotions we have attached to the thoughts. It all feels so real...but is every thought true? Is it helpful?
Our minds like to make us think we don't have time, we need to rush and keep going...when actually...a break is what we really need. Taking some time to do some focused breathing will give your brain more oxygen, which will help the brain work better...and clearer.
Using your imagination can give it an extra boost: try imagining a sun shining in your brain, or imagine a wave of clear water washing away all the worries, or a wind blow the worries away...have fun with it!
In fact, having fun is a great way to get clarity in your mind!
Exercise, sport, dance...any movement is great to get rid of the fog in your head...especially when you are enjoying yourself!
